Animation went down a notch this time, lot of stills, but they splurged out on the first ep, so it shows even more.
It was really stupid of David to use the implant on camera, but he sent the message.
I understand Lucy selling him out, he's a noob, and she wanted to cash in before someone else got to him.
I wonder how they will be able to work together again after this, you can tell David already fell for her, so power of love it is, I guess.
The soundtrack is fire. The ED really hit home this time.
Very great episode, hearing "I really wanna stay at your house" after a really long time brings back memories of Night City, i used to hear it all the time while doing gigs
This was so sweet seeing David get revenge, then it just kept going so well after meeting Lucy, should've know it was too good to be true. That fucking bitch xD
What was written on the packet of juice that Lucy tossed David in the simulation? I think that scene had some sort of punchline that didn't get translated..
This is definitely Trigger goodness so far, a very visually amazing show, great character designs and good music, all that jazz. I’ve heard people say this was a masterpiece or just a very good show, and so far it’s definitely great but I guess I’ll find out if it’s played up or not as goes. But I’ll say, Lucy, aka Cyberpunk Ichigo (because of the hair) is an absolute babe and she’s makes this worth watching alone lol. Also the Op and Ed are both great, I wonder if they’re just from the game or if they were made for the show.
Military-grade sandevistan that is so fucking OP that even a big military guy fell to its cyberpsychotic side effects and yet our main protagonist is out here sucker-punching his privileged-ass classmate in the blink of an eye, seemingly with no apparent side effects whatsoever...
Seems legit!
Aside from that pet peeve, I can see how the story has just begun for David's life now. Now that he's roped in by Lucy to participate in her schemes, he'll be a part of whatever their team is. That would sound good especially after having no other place to go or something to live for... However as Johnny Silverhand once said... "Wrong City, Wrong People" ain't no fucking way David can find himself an ally that quickly, lmao, Lucy manipulated David's feeling, EZ as pie. The man just got his ass beat right then and there, even though he was feeling the greatest joy of his life a few moments before.
The music and the moon scene were so good and cool! Lucy's character design is also so charming and attractive :3 but hahaha in the end she betrayed him XD it felt too impossible or too good to be true that there was a girl as pretty and attractive as Lucy who was interested and helped him just like that in just one day.
Lucy is sure interesting and they're a good duo together, but it seems like he needs to calm done with the use of his implant otherwise he'll turn crazy, the moon part with Lucy was great but looks like she sold him to another guy who wants to get his implant back lol, good luck David
The two parts that I liked the most was when Lucy and David were on the gurney and riding down the tunnel. It was really exhilierating and made funnier by the fact that David was strapped down and couldn't do anything. But honestly, the best part was when David went back to school and he gave that jerk what he deserved!!!
What made me give it a 4 was the last few seconds. I knew it was too good to be true. *Sad face*
