Baheri

Geography
Baheri is located at 28°47′N 79°30′E / 28.78°N 79.5°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 283 metres (928 feet). It is situated at equidistant (nearby 47 km) from Bareilly and Haldwani on Nainital road .

Baheri is socially strong, people ,in terms of all major caste and religions, live here peacefully.Many people of Jat origin live here as well as Sikhs.
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Baheri had a population of 58,577. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Baheri has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 82% of the males and 58% of females literate. 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
