The worst part about the industy is when they start their own label, they turn around and do the same shit! " The industy robbin niggas" and then Kanye or Diddy wont give people the rights to their own music. But thats humans in general right? My boy worked for a car detail shop, his boss was an asshole. Soon as he opened his own shop, he treated his employees the same way. Human beings are either bad or good and unfortunetly, the bad ones seem to be the most successful financially.THe industry does do people dirty, BUT, the whole " They take advantage of black artist " is bullshit. They take advantage of ALL ARTIST, THey always have.
It seems like anything to do with 'Hollywood" will end up getting taken advantage of. Doesn't seems worth it to me. If a person insist on being apart of this industry, it's extremely important to educate yourself on contracts, money, how to negotiate and how to just say no on certain situations.
This is what happens when these labels hyper inflate these streaming #s for their artists…when the artist are on their own, they’re getting fractions of those #s
Don’t bro he’s one of the greatest of all time. You won’t be able to talk hiphop from like 2016-2021 n on without talking NBA youngboy just wouldn’t be possible.
NBA Youngboy ain't blackballed. He's just on house arrest. There's a difference. The industry higher ups still supports this boy. They love what he's doing to the black community. Especially the younger ones. He's leading them down a path of destruction with his music and what he does. Young kids think its cool acting out, doing dumb shit for clout to post on the internet. Its not just Youngboy that there doing it to. Ice Spice, Sexy Redd, that girl (forgot her name) who thinks musicians mean magician. They want the lower income community to stay dumb because it will be easy to control them and lock them up. If the people would wake up and see what the media are doing. They would stop supporting this garbage. But that's impossible. This ain't fantastic where the good guy wins. In this reality the devil going get what he's owed. And best believe he's going get it one way or another.

me and my girlfriend were at rolling loud for skies , 8 months later we meet him at metro metro montreal and even joked with him about rolling loud. was a very nice kind person and took a few minutes too actually talk and take pictures with us
"went back to rapping about violence again and he blew up again" this is why rap ain't it for me, ignorance is a distinctive attribute of this crowd. Stop blaming others, y'all keeping yourselves down.
YK said it all way too early... He barely got any money and had one song and then started talking. I know it's respectful cause he's honest but he could have waited a little
Master P had to show Snoop Dogg just how bad he was getting screwed back in the day. Snoop was having to go to the label and ask for money and they would give him a few hundred or a couple thousand while he had the #1 song and #1 album at the time. Labels have done this from the beginning.
It's called entrapment! It ain't really a job, job, you supposed to enjoy what you do and should be able to sky up when it ain't working for you, these young desperate people who are searching for a way out are the easiest ones To get to sign on the dotted line. If they don't have entertainment lawyer that's for them, well.... We always see what happens next.. It's a great thing if one of them can escape the clutches of the industry with their sanity and their reputation intact.
it sound like almost to his interviews like he was under the influence if you can really listen to his voice, especially when he was talking about Painting his face I feel like they given these kids too many different substances to wear they they be off they be off Facebook, and when they actually reflect on the shit the next day, they can’t believe that they said this shithow the industry plays on young people so sad
I just wanted to say, a lot of people hard on Akademics but you gotta give him credit where it’s due. He knows his stuff. He’s smart and well informed on the music industry.
These brothers are not lying about what they went threw in the industry you can see it in their eyes and hear it and there voice nothing but pain knowing you been a pawn destroying a generation of youth with negative music babies rapping every lyric its crazy to see that and the parents think its cool
First it was blackyspeakz, then cufboys, then bobbalam for a bit, a little helloyassine here and there… now we have a young legend in Mr. rishavfashir… we are in good hands on RUclips
The problem is not just these major labels.. The problem is the people who listen to these music and the people who share these music. There are many good "underground" artists, artists not signed to major labels but people dont listen or support these artists nationally because they are not nationally known. Also those RUclips numbers are not genuine and mostly bots, just lIke the amount of comments trashing NBA Youngboy are bots.

Its so sad that when the 2nd guy was speaking his heart out, his fans on comments were laughing n no empathy at all. It feel so bad for him
Skies is talented asf. always was. he just went up, got that generational money, then dipped. he’s a family guy as he should
and skies is still one of my favs till this day. timeless music for me
facts
I live like 30 minutes from where he grew up. I remember my friend snapped me a pic of him partying with him. I also worked with his old DJ Durrell.
Skies didn’t dipped
He went from rapping to trynna be some type of ‘rockstar’ weird shi and his music just went down from there, yeah he had a son and had to be a father but at the same time, he was definitely making a comeback in 2020 but things started flopping when he didn’t wanna drop the songs everybody was hyped about and dropping music that was totally off what his fans wanted
ong
Man fr bro making the vid NEEDS do his homework , he overWHOOPIN
I respect these artists who speak out n filter non. They have real fans outside made fir them by them. The purest soul shares information and is hated by the ones that don’t.
Rappers need a union.
For that to happen big names like Drake for instance need to push for it and it’s like Osaris said “if you ain’t hot no body fck with you or support you”
Yb still on my playlist..never got blackballed just in house arrest..he still dropping singles and they all a hit
It’s crazy seeing the growth of this channel
love
NBA youngboys numbers were crazy. You’re right I’m from the UK, barely heard of him and couldn’t name one of his songs.
Smartest thing rich people told poor people is you don’t need money to be happy ☠️😂
The love for money is the root of all evil - Jesus Christ, God in FLESH
I need money but it don’t mean I’m gonna be a slave to make it.
Depends how you look at it a lot of people that are born into money or get rich commit suicide despite having the amount of money that should make anyone happy 💯

The reason young boy didn’t fall off after the label stuff and the industry blackballing him was because he still consistently dropped music
Amazing quality video this industry truly an illusion it’s best to learn how to monetize ur work independently
True but then what if they come after you for "accomplishing too much while independent" and having toooo much influence with no label to report to...odd things happen
that's when u go to a remote country in Europe and go off the grid or sign a one album deal and keep all ur ownership for all ur released songs @@ShunHillMusic
💯💯💯💯 yes so true, independent is working fine for me! It's just a slower grind, but definitely worth it.
@SHUNHILL yeah there's somethings that work to in both directions u could get hacked and have somone pose as it to screw with u at that point just keep giving them spaghetti 🍝 🙂 random fake info until they leave I think some people have ai programs that fake Internet usage and conversations to trap followers
The industry has always been like this, it was never a secret. The fact that anyone is shocked and/or questioning whether it's true or not is mind blowing to me. Shows you how ignorant people are and how blindly they go through life
Man I remember hearing someone in Bone Thugs n Harmony saying in the early 90s there was like a massive meeting between the private prison industrial complex ..Music execs…and some heavy hitting producers/artists. The gist of it was basically they agreed to promote the shit out of guns violence drugs etc. to help these private prison profiteers fill their brand new buildings with inmates. I mean I wouldn’t even be surprised even MC hammer and Sir mix A lot dropped gangster rap albums back in the day lol. Hip hop used to be a lot more kid friendly in the 80s from what I’ve heard..maybe that’s what young boy was hinting at he knows how powerful music can be and he knows that is what actually is the real raw behind this music game
Not just bone thugs I've heard this many times it's likely true
Yes same I rmb even seeing a video explaining more in depth abt it
Yes I remember that interview! Krazy bone did the interview I belive, the dark skinned tall one.
This videos' so incredibly well-made. Shout out everyone involved in making it.
i think they’re taking the NBA makeup thing too far, y’all acting like he’s wearing a bussdown 30in and stilettos 💀💀 it’s face paint and mainly black or white as he said he likes the look of those colors like back in the day with metal bands who also painted their faces, it’s 2024 and metal heads can’t paint their face? now that’s soft??😭
It's a humiliation ritual he ain't wanna do all that, force to do it
@@sondraedwards5205just wait until you find out how clown makeup relates to this kind of stuff
@@sondraedwards5205 i think or he could simply like metal heads and took inspiration from early rock in his look, which by the way he dresses and lyrics doesn’t seem too far off..
What’s sad is some of the comments on yk’s live like some of those people are literal bots, bros spillin his heart out n your gonna type a bunch of “😍😍😍” straight npc behavior
What happened to yellow beef, young bleu
“People ain’t gonna want the blame they just gonna want you to follow in behind them” that’s life and I’m sure GOD shows us that
The worst part about the industy is when they start their own label, they turn around and do the same shit!
NBA yungboy is highly self aware....I think he's a lot better of an artist than the surface shows
The devil is in the music industry is so demonic
He was the chief musician in heaven
whole entertainment industry is not just music
Yet you still bump their music
Yes😊
I respect YK a lot more now. I never paid attention to him or music. I pray his life is not at risk with what he exposed 🙏🏾🙏🏾
It seems like anything to do with 'Hollywood" will end up getting taken advantage of. Doesn't seems worth it to me.
If a person insist on being apart of this industry, it's extremely important to educate yourself on contracts, money, how to negotiate and how to just say no on certain situations.
That emo phase of YB release fire music tho ngl
Was that the black phase where he sounded like carti kinda?
@@PlutoKam I think so but I remember when he released emo rockstar and black ball around that time he was with that shit🔥

Why no one talk about the ppl who owns these labels and make them 🌈 and demonic?
This is what happens when these labels hyper inflate these streaming #s for their artists…when the artist are on their own, they’re getting fractions of those #s
I still love you NBA youngboy. Keep on being you if they are true fans they live you no matter what
Gotta feel bad for youngboy
Nope
Don’t bro he’s one of the greatest of all time. You won’t be able to talk hiphop from like 2016-2021 n on without talking NBA youngboy just wouldn’t be possible.
16:00 looked like he was dipping his toes into the horror core genre with the face paint
Stepping your game up I see you
appreciate it
This is why addiction is very common among young rappers
Yeees🎉
To Say No One Outside Of Rap Knows Yb , Is WILD 😂
They need to be brought back with good people standing up for them
NBA Youngboy ain't blackballed. And best believe he's going get it one way or another.
he's half blackballed and half not-blackballed
He's signed with an independent attitude and mindset
@@wop2784explain please? This industry is all connected lol it's one or the other

I feel so sorry for YK every time i see that young man speak it saddens my heart. I just wish i could hug him....all i think about where's his mother. I feel really sorry fir him❤
me and my girlfriend were at rolling loud for skies , 8 months later we meet him at metro metro montreal and even joked with him about rolling loud. was a very nice kind person and took a few minutes too actually talk and take pictures with us
Both him and his brother seem like nice people

I agree for him to say nothing happend for yk to do that was kinda lame we don't know what that man seen that spooked him
He ain’t honest about his money dudes owes a bunch of ppl and won’t pay fuck him u a clown 🤡 lmao
YK said it all way too early... He barely got any money and had one song and then started talking. I know it's respectful cause he's honest but he could have waited a little
@malazan6004 but that was probably the best time too by the time he was really mainstream he would've been too deep in
You cant blackball NBA youngboy. The fans run this💪🏽
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Same thing happened to Prince with Emancipation and the slave word he had on his face 👀😯
What a lot of these rappers need to do is save their money especially if they have just one hit
40 min video gotta cancel all my plans today to watch this
appreciate that lmao
😂😂😂
Master P had to show Snoop Dogg just how bad he was getting screwed back in the day. Snoop was having to go to the label and ask for money and they would give him a few hundred or a couple thousand while he had the #1 song and #1 album at the time. Labels have done this from the beginning.
Joe Budden is probably the worst rapper ever and he keeps talking about negative about people who are way better than him
Indeed

One thing yb did was make it out the black ball part of the industry respect
The problem is not just these major labels.. The problem is the people who listen to these music and the people who share these music. There are many good "underground" artists, artists not signed to major labels but people dont listen or support these artists nationally because they are not nationally known. Also those RUclips numbers are not genuine and mostly bots, just lIke the amount of comments trashing NBA Youngboy are bots.
